Goal
[tanslated] In Austria, there are already many citizens moved by climate change. We decide climate! makes this citizens' movement visible and enables climate protection policy by the people for the people. We are convinced that in times of a looming climate crisis and 43 years after the historic referendum on the Zwentendorf nuclear power plant, a referendum on climate and energy policy is needed. A representative citizens' council should develop the legal texts, which will then be decided upon in a referendum, the result of which will be binding. For this purpose, we as the Alliance Climate Citizens' Council have developed the quality criteria together with other NGOs and communicated them to the politicians.
