To obtain, from the seasonal by-products produced by the participating companies, value-added compounds, namely terpenic, phenolic, sulfur compounds and oligosaccharides with prebiotic and antimicrobial properties, and apply them as ingredients in ACA (compound feeds for animals), in order to reduce or eliminate the use of antibiotics in intensive animal production systems; Use the non-extracted material, when nutritionally attractive, as a raw material that enhances the by-products for ACA (compound feed for animals); Use as polymeric materials for the production of biodegradable plastics for agriculture by-products not suitable for nutritional use and/or residues from the extraction of the compounds of interest; Obtain, from the most fibrous and lignified by-products, carbonaceous materials to remove antibiotics, reduce the emission of greenhouse gases and the organic load in animal effluents; Carry out a data collection for the characterization of agricultural by-products and animal effluents in the Center region, as the main area of action of the consortium."
