Name
Vienna Sim Mobiel
country

Goal
"The “SIMmobil” is a mobile vehicle that functions as an Urban Living Lab. It is used in public areas for communication and information of the inhabitants but also for co-creation activities. It is functioning since 2016 and is coordinated by the Urban Renewal Office in Vienna, that is working in the fields of urban development, urban renewal and participation. The SimMobil is moving throughout the target area, staying in different locations, for 1 month in each and it is open 2 days per week. The monitoring shows that there are 1500 talks with visitors per year (before the pandemics of course). It is used as a test area, as a lab, different methods can always be tested, but it is crucial that the information offered is clear, but also attractive and playful. "
