Name
Streets for People
country
United Kingdom
Goal
We are a group of residents in Levenshulme and Burnage who want to make all our streets more welcoming for all forms of active (non-motorised) travel. We will be helping achieve this by reaching out and communicating with our fellow Burnage and Levenshulme residents, collecting evidence from other low traffic neighbourhood schemes around the country and the world, debunking common myths about active travel, and finally, letting the council and key-decision makers know there is an appetite for greener, cleaner, more people-friendly streets.
