"The main purpose of the SMART FARM COLAB Association (SFCOLAB) is to innovate agriculture in the County, the West region and the country towards its digitalisation. SFCOLAB is a collaborative laboratory constituted by a consortium of private companies, research institutions and universities, aiming at applied research in agriculture to generate innovative and automated digital solutions that allow a better efficient management of resources and the maximization of the added value of national products of horticulture, fruit-growing and viticulture." It aims to be a national and international reference for digitalisation in the agricultural sector.
