"Through the methodology it uses, the project aims to promote scientific curiosity and implement the experimental scientific method, through the collection and recording of geographic, physical-chemical, biological, historical, social and ethnographic information and data, thus contributing to the improvement of the space. studied and the global fluvial quality and the quality of the populations. With Projeto Rios, a network of groups at national level, monitors, partners and volunteers is being promoted, which, together, aim at the promotion, conservation and adoption of different sections of rivers of the 120,000 km of water lines in the country."
