Goal
The Metropolitan Agri-Food Parks Network (RMPA) was formed in 2019 within the collaborative process streamlined by the Living-Lab of the European Project H2020 ROBUST - Rural-Urban Outlooks: Unlocking Synergies. The Working Group formed for this purpose included a wide range of local, regional and national actors, under the coordination of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ICS-ULisboa), at the invitation of the Coordination and Regional Development Commission of Lisbon and Tagus Valley (CCDRLVT). The goal is to ensure that 15% of the food supply in 2030, in the region of Lisbon, is based on sustainable production methods, low carbon distribution networks and short food supply chains that comply with inclusion and food safety criteria.
