Goal
The Right Dish (Prato Certo) started in 2018, it is promoted by an NGO (In Loco) and is funded by Portugal Social Innovation (Portugal 2020). It aims to raise awareness, intervene and empower individuals to put healthy eating back into their daily lives, by providing information and tools for recognising the Mediterranean lifestyle. They want to help people to make informed food choices in their daily lives through Tasty, Healthy and Affordable food, inspired by the principles of the Mediterranean Diet. The Prato Certo aims to: organise Food Education activities; provide training and technical support; create recipes inspired by seasonality and local production; plan weekly menus to save time and money; network around the Mediterranean lifestyle; encourage local production and consumption.
