Name
Nudging Active Travel
country
Malta
Goal
The Nudging Active Travel Project was designed to raise awareness of walking and cycling distances and travel time in the localities of the Central Region and one element of the project is the organisation of public workshops to identify elements of the public space that encourage or discourage walking and cycling. The workshop is interactive and raises awareness of better walking and cycling infrastructure within our urban environments. The workshop delivers on easy and quick measures that could improve walkability and cycling within the urban environment, whilst contributing to research in this field, currently conducted at the University of Malta as part of the WalkingMalta project.
