The Austrian Council for Sustainable Development is an independent non-governmental organisation (NPO, non-profit association)
The Council is integratively concerned with environmental, climate, nature and species protection, charity, development cooperation, disaster relief as well as social and economic development. development and will therefore deal in particular with the opportunities and added value as well as the risks of sustainability. In essence, it is about the socially transformative and prosperity-promoting potential of intergenerational justice and global justice within the carrying capacity limits set by nature. It promotes Austria as a business location and makes a contribution to global transformation processes.
