"Mouraria Composta is a project focused on promoting a more sustainable urban ecosystem, through the implementation of a community composting network, promoted by brigades of organic waste collectors. Its official residence is the shop-workshop Mouraria Composta, centered on the 5 R’s: Refuse, Rethink, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle." Mouraria Composta aims to raise the local community's awareness of contemporary environmental issues, empowering and giving concrete tools for reusing waste. It is aimed at the community in general: residents, workers, visitors.
