Goal
The MerTerre association contributes to achieve ZERO MARINE WASTE GOAL by: 1- Developing macro-waste characterization and decision support tools for managers 2- Supporting public authorities and companies in the construction and implementation of curative and preventive reduction programs for water pollution by solid waste 3- Identifying, coordinating and valuing the social network that organizes voluntary cleanings 4- Producing tools and proposing awareness programs for decision-makers, the general public and children 5-Centralizing legal, scientific and political information relating to this pollution 6- Participating in working groups and think tanks in order to influence decision-makers at national, European and international level.
