Name
Health&Greenspace — well-being from urban nature
country
Finland
Goal
As the main output of the Health&Greenspace project, the project cities draw up an Integrated Action Plan, which is used to guide the work to promote the health benefits of the urban environment. Action plan for promoting the health benefits of Espoo's blue-green structure describes the current state of Espoo's blue-green structure and the city's work to secure the health benefits of the blue-green structure. In addition, it presents measures with which the city, together with its partners, will secure these health benefits in the future as well. Espoo's action plan has been drawn up in close inter-administrative cooperation within the city organization and together with Espoo's residents and communities. As a pilot project of the Health&Greenspace project, the Terveysluontopoltu planningTerveysluontopolun suunnitteluohje guide was drawn up, which describes the planning and implementation of Olari's health nature trail. The health nature trail was implemented in the Kokinmetsa of Espoo Central Park in 2019 in cooperation with almost 20 different organizations. The health nature trail was implemented at the initiative of the Olari club.
