Goal
The funding is for the establishment of a youth led climate advocacy group in county Durham. Participants will attend a two day residential training program where they will develop skills in raising awareness of climate change issues training with a documentary filmmaker and participating in presentations from climate activists and scientists. The young people will then meet up weekly and working in small teams will create films about climate literacy using investigative style documentary shorts to address issues of climate change and how it will affect their local area.
