Goal
An initiative that promotes the use, reuse and recycling of Cork - a sustainable and recyclable product that is produced locally with native trees. Integrated within the environmental education curricula and activities in schools, this initiative encourages the educational and local communities to collect used cork products that are subsequently recycled. The profits acheived from the recycling of cork are then invested in reflorestation initiatives in the municipality.
