Name
Energy contracting for the renovation of public buildings in Municipality of Ljubljana
country
Slovenia
Goal
This is by far the largest public-private partnership project in Slovenia in the field of energy contracting, which has helped to establish guidelines for such projects at the national level and to open the market for energy contracting in the country. In addition to the financial savings, the positive impact on the environment and the satisfaction of the end users of the buildings, the added value of the project is also a new educational program on the efficient use of water, energy and renewable energy sources. Municipality of Ljubljana has committed to allocate 10% of the savings for the education of children in the Ljubljana region.
