Name
Energietal Toggenburg
country
Switzerland
Goal
The goal of the association is visionary, but achievable with the support of the entire population: By the year 2034, the valley should become independent of energy imports, i.e. energy self-sufficient, and by the year 2059 it should reach the 2000-watt society. Another goal is to make a sustainable contribution to the confident development of the valley community. The project is also seen as an ideal opportunity to unite the region behind a common vision. In the spirit of the many positive developments in Toggenburg, energietal toggenburg is intended to help strengthen the good image of the beautiful valley towards the outside world.
