Goal
[translated] EcoTopTen is an Internet platform of the Öko-Institut where consumers and procurers can find recommendations for top ecological products in the ten product clusters lighting, heat, electricity, large household appliances, small household appliances, televisions, computers/offices, mobility, food and textiles. www.ecotopten.de publishes minimum criteria for various product groups that consumers can use to orient themselves on the market. This can facilitate the purchase decision for ecologically efficient products. Recommendations for purchase and environmentally friendly use are given for numerous product groups. In the product clusters food and textiles, a label overview and evaluation supports sustainable purchasing decisions, season-specific recipes round off the offer.
