Goal
The main objective of Culatra 2030 is to position the Algarve region as a center of excellence in research and training in renewable energies, with a view to decarbonizing its economy through the creation of effective bridges between the local community, research in the renewable sector and the companies in the region. As indirect objectives, the promotion of environmental sustainability, the adaptation of the island to climate change and the contribution to the emergence of projects that stimulate the circular economy stand out.
