Goal
Extraordinary Pigs root, scavenge and laze in fields, forests and meadows. A pampered life as the pigs deserve! Owners Stan Gloudemans and Josse Haarhuis have about 20 locations spread throughout the Netherlands, always visible to everyone, with dedicated carers. They feed the pigs, living in small family groups, responsibly grown food. The pigs also root up some of their feed themselves. The combination of feed, fresh air and plenty of exercise ensures a sublime meat taste. Transport of the pigs and logistics of the meat are all done by the extraordinary farmers and caretakers themselves. Based on customer requests, delicious meat packages have been carefully put together that use the whole pig.
