Goal
The goal is to provide shared mobility in rural regions where there is little or no large-scale public transport available. The initiatives are run locally by volunteers and some parts of them are focused on persons with special mobility needs, while others are aimed at all citizens. ("Der Bürgerbus (Kleinbus auf einer festen Linie) und das Bürgerrufauto (Pkw oder Kleinbus auf Vorbestellung) sind als Verkehrsangebot für die Allgemeinheit gedacht, auch wenn es jeweils bestimmte Hauptnutzergruppen gibt. Der soziale Bürgerfahrdienst (Sammeltouren mit Kleinbus oder größerem Pkw) und der Pkw-Bürgerfahrdienst (Fahrgelegenheiten in privaten Pkw der Ehrenamtlichen) beschränken sich dagegen von vornherein auf bestimmte Fahrgastgruppen und/oder Fahrtzwecke. Allen gemeinsam ist der bürgerschaftlich getragene Betrieb. Interessierte finden in Baden-Württemberg bereits viele beispielhafte Projekte.")
