Goal
The aim of the work is to explore the potential for promoting and supporting the uptake of solar PV in Budapest. Taking into account international examples (e.g. Helsinki), a detailed solar map of Budapest will be produced, which will combine geo-spatial databases to show the potential opportunities and endowments of solar PV in the capital. The project will also explore the potential for linking solar PV developments, e-mobility and electricity storage and their potential positive impact on the electricity grid. They will also explore administrative and legal barriers and other technical issues, economic issues and social and community attitudes and involvement.
